Financial Aid

The financial aid process begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We recommend applying online at the FAFSA web site, Be sure to list UVEI's school code, 034373, in the appropriate space on the application. After your application has been processed, UVEI will receive the Student Aid Report and will work with you to put together an aid package, making every effort to make UVEI financially feasible for you.

UVEI offers its own Byrne Scholarships to qualified interns. Funding sources also include federal Title IV funds (Stafford Loans and Pell Grants) and local, state, and national scholarship programs.

Funds may be available for exceptional candidates who demonstrate a combination of qualities related to extraordinary academic readiness, life and career experience, prior experience in education, a long-term commitment to serving high need students (especially in the New Hampshire and Vermont region), teaching subjects in shortage areas, and the dispositions of highly effective teachers.
